Love in Unexpected Places (A Story about trust, surrender and Divine synchronicities in love!)

Sometimes Spirit sends us what we want in a very unexpected way.

Can I share a true story with you that happened in the Red Rocks?

It’s my intention that reading it helps you trust more in the power of love even when it seems totally impossible.

One day in the Red Rocks….

2 weekends ago, I led a meditation ritual with all the ladies from my Ignite Your Soul retreat to prepare them spiritually for the silent hike we were about to take together. 

The entire weekend the theme was: it is safe to love, you are loved, self-love. You get it 🙂

But what happened that particular morning blew my mind. 

As everyone’s eyes were closed, I felt a man’s presence behind me.

Sure enough, a man with a goofy grin on his face and a backpack was planted right on the perimeter of our sacred space.

I wasn’t sure what to do.

Should I stop the ritual and tell him to go away?

Was he Divinely supposed to help us?

After all, I had just finished a workshop on honoring the Divine masculine and feminine.

I called in the Angels for guidance.

Thoughts raced and as soon as the meditation broke, he rushed right up to me and said, “I have a gift for you from Mother Earth. 

(Cray-cray red flag alert! He’s a loony Sedona guy who is probably on some peoty!! my logical mind was shouting!)

But I humoured him and opened my hands half laughing.

Sometimes you just have to trust the moment.

He gave me a gorgeous heart-shaped rock from the canyon that was hand carved.

My mouth dropped.

Then, he smiled, gave me a hug and proceeded to go around the circle and gifted each of the women their own love rock with the same blessing.

“A gift from Mother Earth for you.”

Everyone was astonished and it was the perfect way to start our trek into the vortex.

We passed a few cute male cyclists who asked, “Hi Ladies! Have a great hike! Do you need anything?” Uhh….no? This is pretty good!

(Blush Godddess moment!) 

When it rains, it pours. Just remember to embrace the flow!

Then it got better.

We did the silent walk and as my i-Phone timer went off to conclude the ritual, we heard a beautiful flute in the distance.

Where was it coming from?

One of the ladies pointed to the sky and said, “Look! It’s Robert the Heart Rock Guy! He’s on top of the canyon playing his flute!!”

Another you-cant-make-this-shit-up moment.

How did he get to the top so fast?

It was at least 3 miles up. Tele-port? Astral Travel? Anything is possible in Sedona!

He grins, waves at us and says, “This one’s for all of you ladies! 

And so it was that Ignite Your Soul concluded in Divine Order Goddess-like fashion!
