In line with this month’s theme of “Gratitude,” I wanted to share one of my favorite practices that my husband and I do to shift our mindset into an attitude of gratitude, which positively impacts not only our partnership, but also every relationship.
We are both quite visual, and so instead of simply asking one another, “What are you grateful for?” we went to IKEA and got a poster board size chalk board paper! We got some fun colored chalk and pinned it on a wall in the kitchen, where we cannot help but see it.
Each month, I write, “Thank you, January (or whatever month it is)” and after dinner we take turns really asking each other what was one “gift” you received today? Sometimes it’s something tangible, and other times, it is an energetic gift, like, “Patience today with XYZ situation.”
It’s fun to write things up there, and while it doesn’t happen every day, we make it a point to at least commit to this once or twice a week, and I notice a palpable difference in our interactions and vibe.
You can choose to do this for general “life” stuff and put it in a prominent area of your home like we do, or you can keep it simple and have a piece of paper that you tape somewhere you’ll see it and just write it down as often as you can commit. Once a week with full intention is more powerful than once a day, distracted.
The more you can visually see all the gifts that come your way from the Universe, the more you ramp up your energy for manifesting and receiving love.
Are you game to give this a go this month? If so, leave a comment below. Let’s support you!
P.S. Are you ready to meet the one? I’ll be hosting a free Attract Your Soulmate in 2025 workshop on Lunar New Year, January 29 at 2pm Pacific/5pm Eastern, and I’d love to see you there. Go here to sign up!
