I Quit My Job With No Plan, and Intuition Changed Everything
What happened when I followed a nudge that made no logical sense
Hi Goddess,
I want to share a story I do not talk about very often.
Years ago, I walked into the nonprofit where I worked and announced, somewhat impulsively:
“I’m giving my two weeks’ notice to start my own business as a psychic and intuitive counselor.”
If you had looked at the numbers, it made absolutely no sense.
I had a few clients, but nowhere near enough to replace my income.
And then, later that same day, my roommate told me his girlfriend was moving in and I had two weeks to move out.
So there I was.
No job.
No apartment.
No clear plan.
And yet, somewhere beneath the fear, I knew I had done the right thing.
When Logic Fails, Intuition Gets Louder
From the outside, it probably looked reckless.
But if you have ever followed a deep inner knowing, you understand this kind of moment. It is not always neat. It is not always strategic. It rarely arrives with a perfect spreadsheet.
Sometimes intuition asks you to move before the full path is visible.
That day could have easily sent me into panic.
Instead, I did something simple.
I got quiet.
The List That Changed Everything
Once I stopped spinning in my head, I made a list of everything I wanted in my next home.
And at the very top, I wrote something that still makes me laugh:
Spiritual landlord.
It felt both wildly specific and completely ridiculous.
But it was honest.
And what happened next became one of those strange, beautiful moments where intuition and synchronicity collide.
That one choice led to:
- my first reading event
- an online radio show
- teaching classes
- and eventually the work I have now been blessed to do for the past 15 years
The 3 Principles That Guided Me
I recently wrote an article sharing the full story and the three principles that carried me through that season of uncertainty.
They are simple, but they have shaped every stage of my life and business:
1. Trust your intuition
Even when it does not make sense yet.
2. Tell the truth
Especially when the truth changes everything.
3. Take inspired risks
Not reckless ones. Inspired ones.
These principles have supported me again and again in relationships, business, creativity, and the bigger spiritual leaps life has asked of me.
If You Have Been Feeling the Nudge
If you have been feeling that quiet inner pull to change something in your life, this is for you.
Maybe you do not have the full plan yet.
Maybe the numbers do not fully add up.
Maybe part of you is still waiting for external permission.
But intuition rarely shouts.
It nudges.
And when you honor it, life has a way of meeting you in unexpected ways.

Have you ever followed an intuitive nudge that made no logical sense, but turned out to be exactly right?
I would love to hear your story. Share in the comments.
