I ask for signs for everything!

Asking for a Sign: True Story

Awhile back, I was going through a particularly rough relationship patch.

I had made a decision and wasn’t sure it was the right one.

I pulled cards until I was blue in the face and felt restless and irritable because none of them were giving me what I wanted to hear (note: it’s super hard to be neutral and objective when  you are pulling Angel cards for yourself around something that’s incredibly personal to you!)

And I remember standing in the kitchen, taking a deep breath and closing my eyes.

I felt the tears coming on and when I got quiet, I heard a whisper that said, “Ask us for a sign and we will let you know that we are with you.”

Duh.

I was so wrapped up in trying to wield relief from the emotional pain I was feeling that I forgot to ask the Angels for a sign like I usually do when I’m in a pickle.

So I did.

And in less than 24 hours, I drove in to find a beautiful feather waiting for me right by the car port.

Now, to be fair, sometimes a feather is just a feather.

The difference is in how you ask …how much you believe….and how you feel.

When I asked for the sign, I literally wanted it to be in front of me. I said something to the effect of “Angels, thank you for sending me a sign in the material world that I can easily understand.”

I also believed with every fiber of my being that it would be delivered at the right time, my senses were super heightened when I reached down to pick up that feather.

I felt chills throughout my body and peace and warmth around my heart space.

That’s how I knew it was my sign.

Otherwise, I would have felt totally neutral or maybe amused, but it hit home in a place that I needed.

That’s the power of calling on the Angels for assistance.
